Kingdom of Prussia (c. 1550) by Lehnaru Kingdom of Prussia (c. 1550) by Lehnaru
An alternate history map of a Kingdom of Prussia that developed out of the Teutonic state instead of being annexed as a Polish duchy and province (ignoring some butterflies). The entire Grand Duchy of Livonia, with its capital in Riga, is also independent.

Great job! But why Königsberg in Warmia? Königsberg was in Sambia:)

Allenstein was in Warmia, but the borders of these provinces aren't necessarily the same as the historical regions. The region of Sambia is in the province of Warmia. :P

As a Pole this map is making me a bit angry ^^ You've just showed Hitler's idea of incorporating part of my country. Prussia was one (and oldest one) cause of WW2. They were agresive and always wanted our seashore...
On the other hand as a fan fiction it was done very carefully and you got names right :)

I´m sure this map is just entertainment and was not made to offend Poles.
And the Germans did not aggressivly want the seashore, that´s a lie,
it was a natural peoples movement to Pommerania and later to East Prussia
and Danzig to make the slavics and baltics christian. There was nothing like
ethnic or race hate in the middleage. All that came up after Napoleon mostly.
And don´t forget that it were polish kings who called and invited Germans
to settle there and in nearly al polish cities.

I understand you patriotic Poles of course, but that doesn´t mean you can deny
the truth or offend others. The saxon prince August was once even polish king,
he built a lot of important buildings in Warsaw.

Well... The key word here is "bit". I was a bit angry - I felt a very small dose of that emotion. I also described why I felt so. And finished my comment with approval for being increadibly accurate with names of the lands as well as their borders. Art can have different impact on different people.

In my opinion my patriotism is not harming yours. My country is already submissive to yours and almost under full control of Berlin, so please understand that showing incorporation of some lands made me a bit upset.

And finally - I didn't offend anyone. Majority of Germans are kind and lovely people and I have absolutely nothing against you. Every visit on Germany was great and people I met were always helpful. It's your government I don't like and it's policy against my country.

This is just an alternate history scenario based hundreds of years ago. Poland is one of my favourite countries and I'm definitely not in favour of anything that would have a negative effect on it. :) Hitler used the Prussian issue as an excuse to invade Poland, he would have done it regardless. He didn't care for the Prussian state, overthrowing the legal democratic government in a coup in 1932 and actually abolishing it altogether 1935. The Prussians also tried to remove Hitler and the Nazis many times, culminating in the failed 20 July assassination plot of 1944 in East Prussia, after which they were mostly purged.

That's something I didn't know - thank you for sharing :)

Well, looks that few years of Internet trolling and misbehaviour over the net had a negative impact on expressing and inderstanding an opinion ;) I said only 2 things: my personal feelings about your art and objective (as much as possible for me) point of view :) The personal was connected with anger, while objective highlighted your professionalism and being highly detail oriented :) I can see the good piece of work even in something that might bring me not nice emotions ;) And I assume such emotion wasn't a purpose of this work ;)
I just wanted to explain and leave things clear :)

No offense was intended, but I see how it could upset some people. Glad to get it cleared up! :) I like your work, by the way!
